About Adriano Stavole

As a pilot captain based in Cleveland, Ohio, Adriano Stavole uses his extensive flight training and experience to improve airline operational goals and corporate missions. With over 5000 flight hours, he began his career at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Virginia, where he aided in the research and development of our country’s proposed Small Aircraft Transportation Systems (SATS).

As a trained and certified flight instructor (CFI), Stavole was instrumental in helping many students at Ohio University achieve their goals of becoming pilots and passing the written, oral, and practical exams required for private, instrument, or commercial pilot licensing. Adriano is also trained to instruct future pilots on multi-engine airplanes under CFR part 141, which includes cross-country flights.

Adriano’s passion for helping others led him to the air ambulance industry, which helps save the lives of thousands of critically ill or injured patients every year. In this field, and as PIC (Pilot In Command), Stavole has been instrumental in critical care and organ procurement operations, either navigating or piloting ambulatory aircraft with a First Officer through brutal weather or in congested territories.

Stavole is a commercial pilot, a certified flight instructor, and a licensed airline transport pilot. In addition to his Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-engine Rating, he is also rated for flying specific jets and high-performance aircraft, including CE560XL, CE560, CE525(S), LJ31, BE40, and DHC-8 (SIC).
